Painting a Fibonacci Dot Mandala

Thursday, July 23, 2020 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Painting dot mandalas is a fun, creative activity that can help you relax and de-stress during these challenging times of Global Pandemic.  Mandalas are fascinating designs based on concentric circular patterns that reach deep into our being.  Like Reiki, the Mandala experience goes beyond intellect and words.  It is something you need to experience for yourself.

The Fibonacci Pattern is a specific mandala pattern found widely in nature (e.g. sunflowers, snail shells).  It lends itself to experimentation with colour gradient and contrasts.  You will need the following supplies:  acrylic paint in at least two contrasting colours of your choice (Deco-Art from the Dollar Store is fine), black or white card-stock, a small artist's brush for touch-ups, container of water, paper towels, hairdryer, set of Dotting Tools (recommend Otauna or DIY), paint palette or small containers to hold your paint.  I currently have DIY tool sets available at a reduced cost of $25, tax included, for local pick up in Smiths Falls. Or you could make your own (see instructions at

COST: $25 (e transfer).
