Wishing you a New Year of Love, Health, Wonder, Balance and Connection! Realistically, however, the chaos we faced in 2020 is unlikely to disappear in the short-term. Luckily, there are things that you can you do to make 2021 your best year ever, despite the inevitable "bumps in the road"? My personal strategy is to build Inner Resources through daily practices that replenish my energy and keep stress from endlessly accumulating. At the top of my list is daily Self-Reiki Practice. While Self-Reiki can't magically make physical and/or emotional challenges disappear, it can provide an anchor of balance where you are always only 24 hours away from coming back to center. To quote a well-known Reiki Teacher, Pamela Miles, "The way out, is in!". Even 5-20 minutes of Reiki Self-Care can help you build resiliency, creativity, and kindness towards yourself and others. In addition, by taking a regular self-care break, you will notice a gradual reduction in reactivity to stress and overwhelm.
Interested in giving Reiki Self-care Practice a try? If so, you are invited to join me for a Community Guided Reiki Self-care Session on Zoom. The only pre-requisites are an open heart and mind. Although, those without Reiki Training will not actually be practicing Reiki per se, there are many benefits to appropriate human touch in this and other contexts. For those with previous Reiki Training, perhaps this will be an opportunity to commit or re-commit to a regular daily practice that can be so beneficial.
I will offer these sessions weekly during the months of January and February. Additional dates may be added depending on demand.
